Thomas Hitzlsperger had a relegation clause and was released by West Ham on a free transfer.Hitzlsperger signed for Bundesliga club Wolfsburg on a three-year deal in August.

Demba Ba was also released for free with a relegation clause. He scored 7 goals in 12 games for WestHam. He signed a three year contract with Newcastle but has failed to score in his two apperances so far.
Sold:

Junior Stanislas was sold to Burnley for £1.25M on transfer deadline day to join Zavon Hines. He is cited as saying he wanted first team football and his chances were limited at West Ham.

Scott Parker was sold to arch rivalsTottenham for £5.5m although some papers claim this could rise to as much £7M with add ons. He handed in a transfer request which meant the Club didn't have to pay a loyality or imaging rights bonus worth another £1-£2M saving for the club. He is rumoured to have been on between £65,000 and £75,000 per week so our wage bill would have reduced by another £10.1M to £11.7M over his remaining three years.

Manuel Da Costa was sold FC Locomotiv Moscow for £1.5m in June this year.

Radoslav Kovac was sold to FC Basel £500K in July and has made 4 apperances for them.

Ahmed Adbulla is joining Paolo DiCanio's Swindon for a four month loan. Let's hope he doesn't end up in a fight with the former Hammer.

Oliver Lee has joined Dagenham and Redbridge for a one month loan.
